Privacy Policy

1. What we collect
- License key — generated locally on your Mac and used to identify your account
- Email address (optional) — only if you choose to provide one for download notifications
- Basic usage analytics — view and download counts per share link, with no personal identifying information
2. What we don’t collect
This is the important part. We never:
- Access, read, or scan the contents of your files
- Use your files for AI training, machine learning, or any form of data mining
- Track your browsing activity across other websites
- Sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers
3. File storage
Your files are stored on Cloudflare R2, encrypted at rest. Files are distributed across Cloudflare’s global edge network for fast downloads. Storage locations may include the EU and other regions depending on Cloudflare’s infrastructure.
4. Data retention
Files are permanently deleted after the expiry period you set when sharing. Once deleted, they cannot be recovered. We do not keep copies or backups of expired files.
5. Third-party services
We use a small number of trusted third parties:
- Cloudflare — infrastructure, file storage (R2), and content delivery
- LemonSqueezy — payment processing for Pro subscriptions
Each of these services has their own privacy policies. We do not share your data with any other third parties.
6. Cookies
We don’t use cookies. No tracking cookies, no analytics cookies, no cookie banners. Zero cookies.
7. Analytics
The only analytics we collect are basic download and view counts on your share links—visible to you in the Pro tier. These are simple counters with timestamps and contain no personally identifiable information about the people viewing your links.
8. Your rights
You can:
- Delete your data at any time by deleting your shares through the app
- Export your data by downloading your own shared files before they expire
- Request information about what data we hold about you
9. GDPR compliance
We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). If you’re in the EU and want to exercise your data rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability), contact us and we’ll respond within 30 days.
